—– TRANS —–
Hi everyone, thank you for watching tonight’s episode of Just Love JK.
8 years after JYJ member Junsu debuted, this is the first time he came to Taiwan for solo activities.
Just Love JK, will show many exciting footages to everyone

At the beginning of this program, we will have a look at Kim Junsu who has recently came to Taiwan
Junsu! What we see right now is Junsu’s solo album
What do you have in your hand?
In my hand is the cover of his CD
It looks like it has a lacy feel to it
Right, it looks very pretty
Also look at the picture he took this time, it’s different from the Junsu we know in the past

Did you know, this album’s sales is super good
In Korea, his entire sales volume already surpassed 120,000.
Also I hear it happened in a very short time period right?
Right! Also he was ranked 10th on Billboard’s worldwide rankings.
This time with the release of his album, also coming to Taiwan to hold a concert
To all JYJ fans, this is a very happy thing.

Also his concert tickets were sold out within short 30 minutes
3500 tickets all sold out
That’s right that’s right.

What makes everyone very surprised is also 80% of this album was composed by Kim Junsu himself.

Also, I remember last time Jaejoong also came to Taiwan. Right?
When Jaejoong came to Taiwan, a lot of fans asked him to sing
What song? Sing the song he wrote for Junsu
Inside includes this song

Also this time, we see… Do you know Junsu has a twin?
His twin brother, also helped him write lyrics for songs in this album
I think this is great, it is older brother writing songs for younger brother

Right, I always had a dream that I have a twin brother. Don’t you wish for that?
Twins not so much, but I always dreamed of having a younger brother. Because I have a younger sister and an older brother, so I want a younger brother. Because I can ask him to do anything for me. haha~
Isn’t your younger brother always by your side?
Right, but he feels like an assistant

MTV Taiwan: Junsu’s Solo Concert, Press Conference, and Fan Support

[TRANS]
[Summary of Conference + Fan Interviews]

JYJ’s Junsu came to Taiwan by himself to hold his solo concert, and he appeared with platinum silver hair for the conference. He even showed a bit of Chinese by saying “Hi everyone, I’m Xia Junsu.” Junsu who missed Taiwanese cuisines very much exclaimed “Great!” in Chinese when he tried steamed buns, pineapple cakes, bubble tea and fried chicken.

The host joked that the album title “Tarantallegra” is really difficult to pronouce and even dared Junsu to say it himself. When explaining the meaning behind the title, Junsu said: “The word is a spell that makes a person dance very quickly. The meaning of such title means that I’ve cast such a spell on the audience.”

During the conference, Junsu and the host talked about his work a lot. Regarding his female image in the music video, Junsu even said that he thinks he looked fairly beautiful: “To be honest, when I first decided to dress up as a woman, I was very worried. I was considering whether if I should make myself look extremely feminine, but at the same time, I was concerned that it may bring some discomfort for the audience. So, in my opinion, the staff put in a lot of effort to make me look more feminine but not awkward, which made the process not feel terrible. In all honestly, it was much better than I thought.”

The performance used stage and audio devices that were similar to those used in the Seoul concert, including the large LED screen, and the fans’ reactions also didn’t fall behind those of the fans in Korea.

Kim Junsu entertained his Taiwanese fans with his smooth vocals and explosive performances.

He sang all of his ballads, musical numbers and dance performances live, from his first performance Breath to the last,Fever. Fans swayed with the mood, and whenever he put on a ballad, they even showed tears at his touching vocals.

Kim Junsu said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been in Taiwan, and I want to thank you for showing me such love. I hesitated a lot while preparing for this album, but I think it’s great that I decided to release it because I can hold concerts and meet with fans like this. I leave with so many great memories. I’ll definitely come back to Taiwan as a member of JYJ or as Xia.”

During his concert’s trademark ‘Genie time’, in which Kim Junsu answers three requests from his fans, he had to wink, act cute with a ‘Bbuing bbuing’ and put on an expression dubbed ‘Angel Xia’ by his fans. The ‘Bbuing bbuing’ request especially showed how popular the Korean wave was in the country.

Before he put on the ‘Angel Xia’ expression, Kim Junsu made his audience laugh by asking the men to “close your eyes.”

Kim Junsu sang ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Reason’ without any accompanying music. The fans cheered in unison and were extremely happy.

Kim Jun-su, known best as a member of the boy band JYJ, kicked off his Asia solo tour on Sunday in Bangkok. More than 1,000 fans gathered to greet him at the airport.

Ahead of his show, which took place at the Royal Paragon Hall, the Hallyu singer met with more than 100 journalists to talk about his show and tour.

I’m thrilled to kick off my tour of Asia in Thailand. I want tonight’s show to set a precedent for other great shows to come,” the entertainer said.

He also said that as a solo artist he will try new things and break away from the cookie-cutter mold of K-pop to find his own identity.

It’s a bit progressive and shocking,” Kim said of his title track “Tarantallegra.”

With his new direction, Kim said he hoped to become a trend setter rather than a mere follower in the K-pop industry.

When journalists asked which song he most looked forward to singing at his 4,000-seat sell-out show, he replied, “Lullaby.”
